Lighting Rules

Lighting Control

  • The lighting control is run by wireless Zwave technology and X10 technology. (Image to the right is an example of a Zwave sensor).
  • It can be a plug in module for lamps and in wall switches as well.

Example Rules for Lighting Control

  • TURN ON front porch light 30 minutes before dusk.
  • If front door opens between 6pm and 2am, TURN ON hall light.

Temperature Sensors

  • Wireless
  • The temperature sensors have monthly graphing to assess in home temperature which helps to ensure the heat/air conditioning is working.

Example Rules for Temperature Sensors

  • If outside temperature is LESS THAN 35 degrees then show message on TouchScreen HomeBase to "Bundle up. It's cold outside".
  • If inside temperature is LESS THAN 65 degrees then text maintenance man.

CallerID Modem

  • The CallerID Modem has a USB connection to phone line.
  • The CallerID can be displayed locally or remotely by caregiver.

Example Rules for CallerID

  • If unknown person calls then email daughter-in-law.
  • If call comes in then display caller picture on the TouchScreen HomeBase.
